At Majesty, The Excellent, East Castle, Fuhao Palace and Clube Rio the service charge and tourism tax are already counted inside the listed price, so nothing is added at checkout — counted in is not the same as not charged; Empire, Manhao and Golden Phoenix each add 5% service plus 5% tourism tax; Number Nine, Shang Pin, Batangyu and Victoria each add ten percent, which Shang Pin labels a tourism service charge. On the same headline price that is a swing of ten percent — the figure we quote already has it in.

Nine let you stay till morning: Batangyu, Empire, Number Nine, Shang Pin, Majesty, East Castle, Victoria, Golden Phoenix and Fuhao Palace. Victoria has an overnight rest area and a fifteen-hour stay on one admission, Batangyu a free lobby rest area plus paid private rest rooms, Golden Phoenix is open 24 hours, and Fuhao Palace’s sauna bath on its own covers a twelve-hour stay. Manhao closes 06:00 and The Excellent 04:00, so no overnight there, but both keep a rest area open until close — lobby free, private room extra.

Most venues run their shift from late afternoon through to six in the morning. For the widest choice, aim between eight and midnight — earlier or later and there are fewer people on.

It is fine. Front desk and floor managers at most venues handle Mandarin, and everyday English is generally understood. Japanese depends on who is on shift and is not guaranteed. Either way we confirm the booking and every detail in English, Chinese or Japanese beforehand and brief the venue, so nothing has to be negotiated at the door.

No. A service charge is already on the bill — the rate varies by venue and each venue page lists it. Anything beyond that is entirely optional and nobody is treated differently for skipping it.
